Truths: I wasn’t afraid of ostriches until I visited The Rooster Cogburn Ostrich Ranch. Now, I am both slightly terrified and a little fascinated.
Downside - they can split open my guts with one kick to the midsection.
Upside - THEY ARE LIVING DINOSAURS!

These posts are a little out of order, because when this was taken we had clear blue skies and 20C weather… ! In any case, this lovely farm with friendly ostriches was our first stop on our Cango Caves road trip.
Along Route 62, South Africa.
